In order to draw attention to the advantages of buying and owning your house a realtor may suggest a "Brokers Open House" and invite agents in your area to come and do a "walk through" of your house. Generally these are held during the work week and agents working with buyers or prospective buyers take advantage of "brokers opens" to see what is on the market in order to be able to make suggestions to their buyers. A brokers open also allows a realtor to obtain feedback from other professional agents about the list price, condition of the house, location, and other issues or concerns which s/he may have not taken into full consideration. The conversation is informal but a good amount of information is shared at these meetings, so if your agent suggests a Brokers Open House it will be to your advantage to agree to it.
